常见问题

What is SDH and why would I remove it?

SDH (Subtitles for Deaf/Hard-of-hearing) includes sound descriptions like [MUSIC PLAYING] and [DOOR SLAMS]. While helpful for accessibility, they can be distracting for regular viewers and may appear as text in players that don't support formatting.

Will cleaning affect subtitle timing?

No, the cleaner only modifies the text content. All timestamps and timing information remain exactly the same.

Can I undo the cleaning if I don't like the result?

The original files are never modified. You can always re-upload the original files and try different cleaning options.

What formats are supported?

We support SRT, WebVTT (VTT), ASS, SSA, SAMI (SMI), and MicroDVD (SUB) formats. The output will be in the same format as the input.

Is there a file size limit?

Each file can be up to 10MB, and you can process up to 50 files at once. This is more than enough for feature-length movies and TV series.

Are my files uploaded to a server?
